A Little About Me

Laura Dro is a multidisciplinary artist and textile designer with over twenty years of experience in the art world, where painting, pattern, and storytelling intersect. Raised along the Atlantic beaches of Florida, she has always been inspired by the way light, color, and nature shape a mood—and she translates that energy into original artwork, textiles, and wallcoverings.

Known for her unexpected, “off-the-wall” color palettes, Laura approaches design as both art and atmosphere. Her collections infuse homes with personality and creativity, inviting people to decorate in a way that feels expressive and alive. Through hand-painted wallpapers, fabrics, and one-of-a-kind paintings, she reimagines interiors as places that spark joy and inspiration.

With a Fine Arts degree from the University of Florida, Laura has built a career that blends traditional artistry with contemporary design. Her patterns and paintings have been featured by national retailers and embraced by designers who seek out fresh, vibrant perspectives. Today, she continues to push boundaries—bridging art and home, and paving her own colorful path in the world of design.

“I draw inspiration from nature and the emotional response that a unique place can have on my mind, heart and well-being. From the mountains to the beaches to a breathtaking sunset, the colors, textures and energy are what I am energized by and in return lucky enough to create art and collections that are representative of those feelings"

In Laura's newest collections—Amelia Island, Palm Beach, and Miami—are bursting with color, pattern, and joy. Think sun-drenched palms, splashy florals, and breezy pastels that instantly lift a room’s mood. Each design radiates the carefree spirit of coastal living, bringing a dose of fun, personality, and vacation energy right into your home.

“I want each painting to carry a color palette that feels like a memory—whether it’s the warmth of a perfect summer day at the beach or the quiet wonder of a mountain escape. My hope is that the colors bring back those moments of sunshine, fresh air, and the timeless ease of being surrounded by nature.”
