Meet Laura Dro
Laura Dro Designs was founded by artist Laura Dro in 2008. Over the years Laura has licensed patterns and collaborated with HomeGoods, The Land of Nod (Crate and Barrel) Nordstrom, Staples, Joss & Main, Society Social, and Gilt.

Laura followed her creative passion of making products with bright and sunny artwork and launched her inaugural line of pillows, wallpaper, tea towels and prints in 2021. A lifelong creative with a degree in Art Education from the University of Florida concentrating in Painting, Laura’s spark and love for textiles developed at a very young age. She spent many afternoons learning to paint and and exploring vintage lines and ceramics at her Grandmother’s Antique Shop called “Laura’s Attic” in Jacksonville, Florida.
My grandmother Gigi opened a tiny consignment shop in my hometown of Jacksonville, Florida when I was ten years old. Laura’s Attic was full of multicolored treasures, from ginger jars and accent furniture, to artwork and trinket boxes.

With the magic of her creativity, Gigi styled it all into a décor haven. Many days she would pick me up after school, and we’d spend the afternoon together in the shop. She always had an easel set up, and we would paint together as customers flowed in and out. I remember the first time I was complimented about a painting I was working on and the feeling of my heart bursting with pride.
